What Is AETOS
Founded to strengthen the role of underground works in infrastructure development, AETOS brings together engineering firms, academic institutions, and technology providers to foster collaboration and innovation in the tunneling industry.
As stated by AETOS, their mission is to promote innovation, share knowledge, and strengthen the role of underground infrastructure in sustainable development, goals we at Proqio strongly align with.
From technical seminars to international congresses, AETOS plays a key role in connecting the Spanish tunneling community with global best practices. They also collaborate with ITA-AITES (International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association) and support the development of standards that shape the future of underground construction.
Why This Is Relevant to Proqio
Tunnel construction is changing fast. As projects become more complex and data-heavy, the need for smarter tools and shared expertise grows. By joining AETOS, we’re contributing to that collective progress.
At At Proqio, a company based in Spain, our goal is to make tunnel monitoring smarter, more connected, and more adaptive. Membership in AETOS allows us to both learn from and contribute to the ongoing transformation of underground works in Spain and beyond. We look forward to engaging with the community, joining conversations about data-driven monitoring, and supporting AETOS’ mission through applied technology and real-world experience.
